The Firelight Lounge was originally designed as a town garage. Built in the early 1900s, it was turned into a tavern on one side and a beer distribution warehouse on the other side in the early 1920s. Later on, the warehouse was turned into a liquor store.
It has seen many owners throughout the years, and has been through many changes. The biggest changes occurred in 2000 to 2001, when the liquor store was closed and the wall separating the two businesses was removed to triple the bar space.
